Logging in to the IPMI interface

This procedure describes how to log in the appliance IPMI interface from a Web browser.

Prerequisites

The 100BASE‑T IPMI port on the rear of the CMS appliance is cabled and configured as described in Configuring the IPMI interface.
The IP address that was configured for the IPMI port is known.
You are using a Web browser listed in IPMI browser support.

To log in to the IPMI interface:

Using a Web browser, access the IPMI port through a secure Web browser session. In the browser address bar, enter https:// followed by the IP address of the IPMI port.
Log in to the IPMI Web UI using ADMIN as the username and the password that was configured for the IPMI user.
Tip
The IPMI interface supports passwords of up to 16 characters. To use a password of up to 20 characters, contact Trellix Support (https://www.trellix.com/en-us/support.html).
