There are two versions of IAM. If the URL you use to access the IAM UI ends with trellix.com this document pertains to you. If the URL you use to access the IAM UI ends with fireeye.com, refer to the System Security Guide or your product's documentation for information regarding IAM.
Use client credentials (client ID/client secret) to communicate with product APIs. You can add client credentials and assign them service scopes in the Client Credentials Management page. Service scopes are linked to specific services provided by products and are assigned to a tenant through a product license.

To create client credentials:
In the IAM dashboard page, hover over the
menu in the upper-right corner and select Client Credentials.Click Add.
Enter a description (optional).
Select an email address from the Email Claim drop-down (optional).
Select the required service scopes.
Click Create to create the client credential.
The Client Secret will appear in a window and it is displayed one time only. Please copy and store it securely now, as it cannot be viewed again.
The Client Credential table displays a list of all the existing client credential IDs, their descriptions and the actions you can execute. Click on a row to view more details of the client credential. You can perform the following actions on a client credential:
Edit existing details.
Copy details from an existing client to create a new client credential. You can edit the copied details before creating a new set of client credentials.
Delete a client credential.
