Before you install and configure the Comm Broker, gather the following information:
Use Docker version 27.5.1 or above.
Obtain the latest version of the Trellix Comm Broker package from Trellix support.
Use the information in Network access to configure your environment to permit communication between the Comm Broker and Helix Enterprise.
If your organization needs to whitelist outbound traffic from the Comm Broker to the Helix Enterprise receivers by IP address, open a terminal and run the following command to obtain the receiver's fixed IP addresses:
nslookup <hexid>.receiver.apps.fireeye.com
Replace <hexid> with the Helix ID of your tenant.
Download the Helix Enterprise certificate. For more information, see Downloading the certificate.
