Regular expression restrictions

Prev Next

TQL queries using regular expressions are restricted to a maximum of 50,000 results. If a query using regular expressions would generate more than 50,000 results, those results will not be displayed, and an error will be generated.

You can use the limit directive to ensure that your results do not exceed 50,000. Note that the limit directive specifies how many items will be searched, not how many results are returned. For more information, see Directives.

You cannot use regular expressions to search on rawmsg.
