The IVX cluster components send Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) data to convey abnormal conditions to administrative computers that monitor and control them. The administrative computers are called SNMP managers.
If SNMP is configured on the component, by default the component pushes the following events (known as traps) to the SNMP manager.
