This task list summarizes the steps for configuring a SmartVision appliance to support system event notifications and distribution of scheduled reports.
Prerequisites
Configure the SMTP server or domain and specify the email addresses of the system event notification and report recipients. These steps are typically performed during initial setup of a Network Security appliance.
Scheduled reports will not take effect unless the SMTP server or domain and email recipients are configured

Scheduled reports and system event notifications use the same email server and recipient list. To configure the email server and recipient list for scheduled reports using the CLI, use the
