The Trellix Helix 2025.3 release includes new features and enhancements. For more information, refer to the Helix Product Guide.
New features and enhancements
Rule history
Rule history allows you to see changes made to the rules in your environment. It details who changed the rule and what the change was. This means the rule history acts as an audit log, providing transparency and the ability to track changes. You can filter by operation, for example view only the rules that have been updated, and federated customers can filter by tenant. To view the rule history, on the Rules page select Rule History.
Alert management enhancements
On the Alerts page, you can now see any child alerts of the parent alert even when the Group Alerts toggle is set to Off. When you open the alert details page of a parent alert, the Assets and Intelligence tabs will show any child alerts. The Alert Timeline also now shows the events that generated the alert, and any other related alerts. These updates align the user experience with what you see when the Group Alerts toggle is set to ON.
On the alerts table, you can add a column to show the assets affected by an alert. To add the column to the table, select Settings
> Customize Columns and select Assets.
Case management feature enhancements
The following enhancements have been made to managing cases:
The Case Timeline displays a two-line description of any notes or manual entries added to the case, giving you a quick overview of the details of the case.
You can filter the table on the Cases page by the tags assigned to a case. Click the Tags menu above the table and select one or more tags, or search for a tag.
A notification appears to confirm user actions on the Cases and case details pages. For example, when you change the severity of a case, you are notified that the action was successful, or if the action failed you are given an explanation as to why.
You can add a note or case summary to a case in HTML format.
On the case details page, you can collapse the title pane.
You can select all items on the Case Timeline and perform a bulk action, for example to delete case activity.
Note
You cannot delete all activity from the Case Timeline. Activity that is read-only will not be selected.
