Trellix Insights release enhances threat visibility with improved MITRE Explorer filtering and streamlines usability by consolidating all defensive guidance into Countermeasures, replacing Defensive Playbooks. This release also addresses multiple interface, navigation, and reporting issues to improve overall stability.

Enhancements

  • The MITRE Explorer is enhanced to support product-specific filtering. You can now select individual Trellix products (such as EDR, ENS, and Helix) to visualize their specific coverage on the ATT&CK matrix and view the number of detection rules each product provides for a specific technique.

  • Defensive Playbooks has been removed from Trellix Insights to streamline the product and improve usability. You can now find all actionable defensive guidance within Countermeasures.

Fixes the issue in the German localized interface where the search bar blocked the "View More" menu options when the text expanded.

Fixes the issue where refreshing the browser would incorrectly redirect users to the landing page instead of reloading the current active page.

Fixes the issue where the "Other Malicious Categories" filter was not visible in the Connections section of the Campaigns page.

Fixes the issue where PDF exports from the Campaigns page contained alignment errors, with data overlapping page breaks.

Fixes the issue where the "Last Detection" details and the "Mark this event as resolved" button were partially hidden in the Environment tab.

Fixes the issue where specific tool types, such as "Info-stealers," were not displayed in the "Advisory and Tools" section. The view now correctly lists all applicable tool labels and categories.

Fixes the issue where breadcrumbs did not update when navigating back to the Threat Landscape page using the Home icon in the navigation bar.

Fixes the issue where breadcrumbs failed to update when navigating from a Campaign Threat Profile to the Advisory and Tools page through the profile link.

Fixes the issue where the main menu and title menu disappeared from the UI after closing a side window on the Countermeasures page.

Fixes the issue where specific informational links, such as "Read how endpoint scores are calculated" in the Security Posture Score widget and the "Learn More" button in Countermeasures were non-functional.

Fixes the issue where the "Licence Sector" and "Country" dropdown on the user onboarding page were only partially clickable and not responsive.

AE-9100

Fixes the issue where the main IOC (Indicators of Compromise) checkbox remained selected even after all IOCs were removed from the Selected Rows list.
