Trellix performs the tasks in this section during the on-boarding process.
Important
There are two versions of IAM. If the URL you use to access the IAM UI ends with
fireeye.com, this document pertains to you. If the URL you use to access the IAM UI ends withtrellix.com, see the Trellix IAM Guide for information regarding IAM.
Create one or more Identity Access Management (IAM) administrative users.
Deploy and perform the initial configuration of the cloud Central Management System appliance (if any), and the Endpoint Security (HX) server and DMZ servers (if any).
Enable Trellix Helix mode on the cloud Central Management System appliance and cloud Endpoint Security (HX) server (if any).
Configure the HelixConnect Client on the cloud Endpoint Security (HX) server (if any). The HelixConnect Client is enabled automatically when Trellix Helix mode is enabled, but additional steps may be required.
Add the cloud Endpoint Security (HX) server and DMZ servers to the cloud Central Management System appliance (if any).
Note
The agent installation package downloaded from virtual cloud Endpoint Security (HX) models running earlier releases points endpoints to the Endpoint Security (HX) server instead of the DMZ server. The DMZ server is not used in this scenario.
