Setting up a secure communication with Trellix IPS is done from the Advanced Settings page of the Intelligent Sandbox web UI. This allows you to establish a secure SSL channel while communicating with Trellix IPS. Disabling this sets the channel to use TCP connection.
Note
In Intelligent Sandbox 4.12.x, all connections to Trellix IPS are set to use SSL by default.
Log on to the Trellix IPS web UI.
Navigate to Manage → Security → Advanced Security Settings.
In the Advanced Security Settings section, select Use SSL for NSP.
