Complete the onboarding process before accessing the Trellix Insights dashboard.
Make sure you have the following before continuing with the onboarding process:
The email ID associated with the license key for ePO - On-prem.
An Trellix account with Trellix Insights Admin Access.
The onboarding process allows the Trellix Insights to access the telemetry of devices that you manage.
Additional optimizations have been included in the onboarding process:
Reinitiate pending onboarding - if you enter an incorrect email ID or license key, or did not verify your account using the confirmation email, you can click Reinitiate Onboarding and start a fresh onboarding process.
On-prem ePO server for mapped license keys - when you log on to Trellix Insights the onboarding page auto-refreshes to check that ePO - On-prem has mapped to your license key. If the mapping is successful, click Relaunch Insights to display the Trellix Insights dashboard. Otherwise, complete the onboarding process by entering your license key and associated email ID.
At the logon screen, click Log On with Trellix.
If you logon to ePO - On-prem using the Log On with Trellix option, go to Menu → Trellix Insights → Trellix Insights to view the Trellix Insights dashboard.
Use your Trellix account credentials to log on to ePO - On-prem.
Enter your Trellix account email credentials.
Select your language (if needed) and click Next.
Enter your password and click Sign In
Select Menu → Trellix → Trellix Insights.
Read through the EULA page and click Accept.

If your Trellix user account does not have Trellix Insights Admin Access, you can't complete the onboarding process.
On the Getting started with Trellix Insights page, enter the license key and Email ID. Click Next.
Note
If you are the owner of the license key, this information is automatically populated and you are advanced to the next step.
Select your default settings for Sector and Country. Click Next.
Verify your selections and click Submit.
The system runs a check to validate your email address and license key.
Review the details in the Next Steps pane and click Relaunch Trellix Insights.

If the owner of the license key and Trellix account are the same:
The process completes automatically and you are ready to continue.
If the owner of the license key and Trellix account are not the same:
The page now shows that Trellix Insights is pending approval. In this instance, the license owner receives the email request, reads it, and clicks Approve Association to manually complete the process.
You now have access to Trellix Insights in the ePO - On-prem web console.
Note
If you have multiple ePO - On-prem servers that share a license, and the same Trellix account is used to log on to each server, then your other servers are automatically validated.
