Using the Malware Analysis Web UI as a VNC client

During malware submission, you can use the Web UI as a VNC client to interact with a running virtual machine on the appliance.

To launch the VNC client:

  1. In the Web UI, click the Analysis tab.

  2. Select the type of malware analysis job.

  3. Assign a single URL, single file, or list of URLs for analysis.

  4. Select the Enable VNC checkbox.

  5. In the State/Status column, click the pop out icon (pop_out_icon.png) while the state of your analysis job is Running.

  6. If there is more than one object in the malware submission, click the pop out icon to display a list of VNC ports. Then click the pop out icon next to the malware object you want to interact with to launch the VNC client.
