The Appliances page provides a comprehensive view of the appliances in your environment. In the federated view, it provides a comprehensive view of the appliances in one or all of your organizations. You can also pivot to other pages and take actions on appliances from the Appliances page.
To open the Appliances page:
From the main menu, select Manage > Appliances.
Click links in the System Health widget on the Operational Dashboard.
You can click some column headings to filter the display to a particular status, appliance, product, and so on. Click Reset All Filters to restore the full list of appliances.
The Status column indicates the current health of the appliance:
Disconnected—The appliance is disconnected. A disconnected appliance is one that has not provided health data to Helix Enterprise within the last 30 minutes. If an appliance is disconnected for seven days, it is automatically removed from the Appliances page.
OK—The appliance is healthy and operational.
Warning—A problem exists but does not stop an appliance from operating.
Critical—A critical error exists that may affect appliance operations. You should address critical errors as soon as possible.
The Product column shows both the product and edition. Network Security appliances can run in the Evidence Collector, Classic, or SmartVision edition. ("Classic" denotes both Classic and SmartVision edition appliances in this column.) Other appliances run in the Classic edition. For details about the Network Security product editions, see the Network Security User Guide.
The Observable Sharing column shows the status of local signature sharing on the appliance:
Enabled—Local signature sharing is enabled on the appliance.
Disabled—Local signature sharing is disabled on the appliance.
Unsupported—Local signature sharing is not supported on the appliance type, or the appliance is not running a release that supports local signature sharing.
The Updates column indicates whether a system image, guest images, or security content update is available for the appliance. To see the existing and available versions, hover over the information icon. See Updating appliances.
The Last Check In column shows the last time Helix Enterprise obtained health information from the appliance.
The menu at the end of each appliance row allows you to take the actions described in Appliance actions.
Note
The Organization column is displayed in the federated view only.
