The Application Settings > Parsing page allows you to add, delete, or export custom parsing files containing patterns that are matched against unparsed data.
Only one custom parsing file at a time is used for pattern matching. Two files are stored in the Helix Enterprise Web UI, an active file and a reference file. The active file is used for pattern matching. When a new file is uploaded, it becomes the active file, and the previous active file becomes the reference file. If you upload a third file, the previous reference file is removed and is not archived.
Note
You can export a reference file before uploading a new file. This allows you to retain the reference file, which will be removed from Helix Enterprise when the new file is uploaded.
For details about the file syntax and format, see the Self-Service Parsing Guide.

From the main menu, select your avatar and then select Application Settings.
Click Parsing.
To add a file, click Add Custom Pattern DB File. Click Choose File and navigate to the file, or drag the file into the box.
To download a file to your local machine, click Export.
To delete a file, click Delete.
