Setting the alert aging interval using the CLI

To set the alert aging interval using the CLI:
  1. Enable the CLI configuration mode:

    hostname > enable hostname # configure terminal

  2. Set the alert aging interval:

    hostname (config) # hx server detection aging alert period <seconds>

    where <seconds> is the number of seconds for the aging period for alerts. The default is 2592000 seconds (30 days). Valid values range from 0 seconds to 31536000 seconds (one year).

    To reset this interval back to its default setting enter this command:

    hostname (config) # no hx server detection aging alert period

  3. Save your settings.

    hostname (config) # write mem
