If the total number of bypassed emails since the last MTA health check exceeds a specific threshold, an event notification is sent to the configured MTA alias. If the total number of deferred emails since the last MTA health check exceeds a specific threshold, another event notification is sent. (For more information about congestion policy, see the Email Security — Server User Guide.) These thresholds and other MTA event notification settings are described in the following table.
Important
These settings are used only when the Email Security — Server appliance is deployed inline in MTA mode and configured in the Block or Monitor analysis mode. For details, see Analysis modes .
Note
Individual MTA events cannot be enabled or disabled.
