Configuring queue notification thresholds

Prev Next

Administrators can set queue notification thresholds for specific domains. When the set threshold is exceeded for 5 consecutive minutes, an email alert is generated and sent to configured administrators. Alerts are sent every 5 minutes until the message queue is no longer exceeded.

Alerts contain the names of the domains exceeding the threshold, the approximate queue size, and the date the alert was created. The queue count is the aggregate of the processing queue and the delivery queue across the regions in the environment.

To set the queue threshold for a domain:

  1. Under General Settings, click Manage next to Queue Notification Threshold.

  2. Click Change.

  3. Select 0, 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, or 5000.

If you select 0, notifications are disabled.

  4. Click OK.

  5. Click Save.

Each administrator who wants to receive alerts must enable threshold notifications and select the domains as per domain-specific RBAC definitions. See View and manage administrative user details for more information.
