While setting up Trellix DLP Capture Storage Array or reinstalling the appliance software after any Trellix DLP Capture Storage Array setup change, you must take these factors into consideration.
The Trellix DLP Capture Storage Array hardware setup must not be changed after installing the appliance software, otherwise the appliance might not function as expected. If the Trellix DLP Capture Storage Array and RAID card are present when the appliance is installed, both must remain present and powered on. If the RAID card is removed or the Trellix DLP Capture Storage Array is disconnected, the appliance software must be reinstalled after the change.
It is not recommended to configure a Trellix DLP 8800, Trellix DLP 7700, or Trellix DLP 6600 hardware appliance model connected with the Trellix DLP Capture Storage Array as a packet acquisition device. The Trellix DLP Capture Storage Array remains unused as the PAD doesn't scan and store capture data.
