The purpose of excluded plug-and-play devices is to deal with those devices that do not handle device management well. If not excluded, they might cause the system to stop responding or cause other serious problems. Excluded plug-and-play device templates are not supported on Trellix DLP Endpoint – SaaS for Mac
Excluded plug-and-play devices are added to plug-and-play device rules on the Exceptions tab. They are never managed, even if their parent device class is managed.
