Trellix DLP Network hardware appliance ships with more than one power supply and must be configured to provide redundancy while operating at nominal power. Use two electrical outlets that are on different circuit breakers to achieve additional protection.
Trellix DLP 8800 appliance models use cold redundancy, where power supplies operate in turns. During the transition time, both power supplies operate.
If one power supply fails, an alarm sounds and a warning indicator light illuminates. If a power supply fails, contact Trellix for a replacement unit.
