Selecting a scan on the Scan Management page opens the scan details pane. Configuration details differ for classification scans and remediation scans. The scan details pane appears with the relevant fields based on the selected scan type.

Enable scan | Shows whether the scan is enabled or disabled. You can move the slider to enable or disable the scan. An enabled scan runs when the required configuration details are entered and the scan is saved. Paused scans appear as disabled and can be resumed from the Scan Management page.

Discover server | Shows the Trellix DLP Discover Server selected for the scan. In the Discover Server details section, Last Communication shows the last time when a Discover server error occurred. | |
Schedule | Shows the current schedule set for running the scan. The default options are:
You can create more schedules from Menu → Data Protection → DLP Policy Manager → Definitions. | |
Next run | Shows the scheduled date and time of the next scan run. | |
Data Inventory | (For Classification scans only) Shows the number of items scanned. You can click the number to view the analytics data for that classification scan. | |
Repositories | Lists the repositories that are included for the scan. | |
Classifications | (For Classification scans only) Lists the classifications that are included in the scan, based on which the scan detects and classifies files in the repositories. | |
Filters | Include the following:
| Shows the include filters used in the scan to scan only specific files in the selected repository. |
Exclude the following:
| Shows the exclude filters to exclude certain file types from the scan to obtain granular results. | |
History | Shows the date and time of each scan with the number of files scanned and the number of errors generated. | |
More Options | Throttling limit in KBps | Shows the throttling limit set for the scan. This value is set to limit excessive scan bandwidth for large scans that are scheduled on networks with low transmission capacities. The default is 2000 KBps. |
Maximum errors to report per run Stop scan if number exceeds | Select the maximum number of errors to be reported per scan run. The default value is 100. Select Stop scan if number exceeds and specify a value to stop the scan if the number of errors exceed the specified value. The default value is 100. The available values are 100, 1000, 10000, and 100000. | |
Maximum incidents to report per run Stop scan if number exceeds | (For Remediation scans only) Select the maximum number of incidents to be reported per scan run. The default value is 100. Select Stop scan if number exceeds and specify a value if the number of incidents exceed the specified value. The default value is 100. The available values are 100, 1000, 10000, and 100000. |
