Viewing scans

The Scan Management page displays the list of scans and their details. You can access this page from Menu → Data Protection → DLP Discover. You can pause or stop a scan or modify scan configurations from a single page.

Scans pane

Column headers	Definitions
Actions	Resume () — Click this to resume a scan. Pause () — Click this to pause a scan. Stop () — Click this to stop a scan.
Name	Name of the scan.
Status	Status of the scan. A few primary states are Completed, Running, Paused, and Stopped.
Started (UTC)	Shows when the scan was started. The time is in UTC.
Duration	Shows the time taken to complete the scan.
Scanned Items	Shows the number of files that are scanned in a repository.
Total Items	Shows the total number of files residing in a repository.
Incidents	Shows the number of incidents generated during the scan. You can click the number to view the incident details in the Incident Management page.
Errors	Shows the number of events that occurred during the scan. You can click the number to view the event details in the Operational Event Management page.
