The Device Guard module 1.2.1 release includes resolved issues and known issues.

Every update release is cumulative and includes all features and fixes from the previous release. We recommend that you always upgrade to the most current update.

The following issues were resolved in the Device Guard module 1.2.1 release.

ENDPT-108563

An issue with the driver installation prevented the Device Guard from installing on some systems while upgrading to version 1.1.0. This caused the module to fail during the initialization process. An additional check now ensures that the driver is in place before initializing the module to ensure a successful installation.

Devices connected to a USB hub are not reported for removal when the hub is removed.

ENDPT 89369

Interface details of some devices are misreported by the Device Guard module.

ENDPT-112485

The Device Guard module must reload the driver for processes that restart the agent or when a major feature setting is changed. This causes USB controllers and hubs also to be restarted.
