aaa authentication attempts class-override admin no-lockout-console

This command prevents the admin account from being locked out from the console port due to multiple failed authentication attempts.

Note

This command only applies to the admin user account when logging on to the console port. This command does not affect other user account types. This command also does not affect log-ins through the network (management) ports.

Syntax

[no] aaa authentication attempts class-override admin no-lockout-console

Parameters

no

Use the no form of this command to re-enable admin account lockouts.

Example

The following disables admin account lockouts on the appliance:

hostname (config) # aaa authentication attempts class-override admin no-lockout-console

The following enables admin account lockouts on the appliance:

hostname (config) # no aaa authentication attempts class-override admin no-lockout-console
