The advanced section settings consist of configurable update intervals, in seconds, at which the latest malware definitions should be retrieved and downloaded to the agents on all of your host endpoints or host sets.

If you attempt to modify these settings using an API custom configuration channel, the API will automatically override them with the settings established during Endpoint Security (HX) server and agent deployment.
