The channel setting identifies the configuration channel to which the agent should subscribe.

Important

Do not change this setting using the Web UI or the CLI. Do not specify it in an API custom configuration channel or manually on individual endpoints using a text editor.

This setting is automatically assigned to an agent if its host is included in the host set referenced in an API custom configuration channel.
