The Trellix Application and Change Control (TACC) 9.0.0 July 2025 release supports Application Control features in ePO - SaaS.
Note: The TACC 9.0.x release line supports Application Control features only. Change Control functionality is not included and is planned for a future release.

Upgrade support
This release does not support an upgrade path.
New or changed
The Application Control feature in TACC is now available on the SaaS platform, extending execution control beyond traditional on-premises deployments.
This release includes the following enhancements to improve monitoring and control:
Lightweight Application Control: Provides initial support for seven event types (File Write Denied, Execution Denied, Registry Write Denied, Inventory Corrupted, Installation Denied, Data Throttled, Data Dropped) for foundational security.
Automated policy discovery: Identifies execution behavior to simplify rule creation.
Application inventory: Offers comprehensive visibility into application files across endpoints.
Rule management: Enables defining and enforcing trusted execution policies.
Inventory differencing: Compares current versus historical application inventory to detect changes over time.
Event actionability: Allows customers to take direct action on reported events within ePO SaaS.

Note: The migration feature for transitioning from TACC on ePO On-Prem to TACC on ePO-SaaS is not included in this release. This capability is a high priority and is planned for inclusion in the next immediate release.
