Use this command to specify which partition the system should boot from by default.
The appliance includes two boot partitions (1 and 2). By default, the appliance will always boot from partition 1.
Note
The
image boot locationcommand performs the same function as theboot system locationcommand.
Syntax
boot system location { 1 | 2 }
Parameters
<term>1</term>
Sets the default boot partition to 1. (default)
<term>2</term>
Sets the default boot partition to 2.
Example
The following example sets the default boot partition to 1. (default)
hostname (config) # boot system location 1
The following example sets the default boot partition to 2.
hostname (config) # boot system location 2
