Change the CLI password

You can change the default command line interface (CLI) password to prevent others from accessing the CLI.

1. On the Trellix ePO - On-prem console, select Menu → Policy → Policy Catalog.
2. Select the Solidcore 8.x.x: General product.
3. In the Configuration (Client) category, click Duplicate for the Trellix Default policy.
   The Duplicate Existing Policy dialog box appears.
4. Specify the policy name, then click OK.
   The policy is created and listed on the Policy Catalog page.
5. Click the policy to open it and type the new password in the CLI tab.
6. Confirm the password.
7. Click Save and apply the policy to the endpoints.
