Manually check in the Trellix Endpoint Security (ENS) for Linux deployment package to the Trellix ePO - On-prem Main Repository to manage the software.

Task

  1. Download the .zip file from the Trellix download site to a temporary location on the Trellix ePO - On-prem server.

  2. Log on to the Trellix ePO - On-prem server as an administrator.

  3. Select Menu → Software → Main Repository → Check In Package.

    1. For Package type, select Product or Update (.ZIP).

    2. Click Choose File, select McAfeeESP-KernelModule-<version_number>-<build_number>, click Choose, then click Next.

    3. Click Choose File, select McAfeeTP-<version>.<build_number>-Release-ePO.zip, click Choose, then click Next.

    4. Select Current as the branch.

  4. Click Save.
