cmc appliance ＜appliance ID＞ connection auto

Enables automatic connections between the Central Management System appliance and a managed appliance.

Important

Automatic connections must be enabled on the requesting appliance in a client-initiated connection. To prevent future connection issues, do not enable automatic connections from the Central Management System appliance on behalf of a managed appliance that was added using a client-initiated connection. The value of the Auto-connect field in the output of the show cmc client command on the managed appliance is yes. The value of the Auto-connect field in the output of the show cmc appliance <appliance ID> command on the Central Management System appliance is no.

Syntax

[no] cmc appliance <appliance ID> connection auto

Parameters

no

The no form of this command disables automatic connections between the Central Management System appliance and a managed appliance.

appliance ID

The unique appliance ID of the appliance.

Example

The following example enables automatic connections on the appliance EX3400-3.

hostname (config) # cmc appliance EX3400-3 connection auto

The following example disables automatic connections on the appliance EX3400-3.

hostname (config) #no cmc appliance EX3400-3 connection auto
