Adds a comment associated with the specified appliance. This comment can be viewed with the show cmc appliance <applianceID> command.
Syntax
[no] cmc appliance <applianceID> comment <comment>
Parameters
no
The no form of this command removes the comment.
applianceID
The unique appliance ID of the appliance.
comment
The comment to add to the show cmc appliance <applianceID> output.
Example
The following example adds a comment to the appliance EX2400-3.
hostname (config) # cmc appliance EX2400-3 comment "Monitors HQ Email."
The following example shows the comment as displayed using the show cmc appliance EX2400-3 command.
