cmc appliance ＜applianceID＞ address ＜address＞

Sets the hostname or IP address that the Central Management System appliance will use to communicate with the client.

Note

If auto-connect is enabled, the Central Management System appliance will automatically connect to that device. However, if a temporary auto-connect is enabled using maintain command, the temporary auto-connect is overridden and the system returns to its normal state.

[no] cmc appliance <applianceID> address <address>

The no form of this command removes the hostname or IP address.

applianceID

The unique appliance ID of the appliance.

address

A hostname or IPv4 or IPv6 address used for client communication.

The following example configures an ID address for the nx-32 appliance:
