Specifies whether a password or an "SSH" or "DSA2" identity should be used to connect to the Central Management System appliance.

Syntax

[no] cmc client server auth authtype <authtype>

Parameters

no

Use the no form of this command to reset the authentication method to the default (password).

authtype

The authentication type

  • password—Use password authentication.

  • ssh-dsa2—Use SSH DSA2 authentication.

  • ssh-rsa2—Use SSH RSA2 authentication.

Example

The following example sets the authentication method to SSH DSA2:

hostname (config) # cmc client server auth authtype ssh-dsa2
