Create a Trellix SIEM image in OCI

Create a deployment VM object in your compartment.

From the Oracle Console, click the navigation menu.
Click Compute → Custom Images → Import Image.
The Import Image window opens.

Configure the image.

Option	Definition
Location	The compartment where you want to deploy the image.
Name	Use a name that is easily recognized, for example "Trellix_ESM".
Operating System	Select Linux.
Object Storage URL	Paste the URL you copied when you created the object storage bucket.
Image Type	qcow2
Launch Mode	Paravirtualized Mode
Tags	Tags make it easier to report on use, identify ownership, and so forth. They are not required, but are highly recommended.
View detail page after this image is imported	Select this so you can see image information.

Click Import Image.
A work request section appears in the Oracle Console. Monitor the progress of the import. The process takes about 30–45 minutes, then you can create a virtual Trellix ESM.
