Enable Trellix GTI FQDN server

The system you intend to enable Trellix GTI FQDN server must have Internet connection.

Note

By default, the Trellix GTI FQDN server is connected to IPv4 network. However, on pure IPv6 machines, the Trellix GTI FQDN server can be enabled for IPv6 network connections.

  1. Log on to the system as a user with administrator rights.

  2. Navigate to the default or custom directory. For example:

    cd /opt/McAfee/ens/tp/bin

  3. Run the command.

    ./mfetpcli --setipv6gtistatus enable to enable IPv6 on Trellix GTI FQDN server.
