After you install a module, you must enable it before you can use the functionality that the module provides. The following task is only applicable to modules that you install. System modules are enabled by default and you cannot disable them.
To enable or disable a module shown on the Installed Modules page.
Log in to the Endpoint Security (HX) Web UI with your admin credentials.
From the Modules menu, select Endpoint Module Administration to access the Modules page.
On the Modules page, click the Installed Modules tab.
In the list of modules, click the Actions icon for the module, and select Enable or Disable.
In the confirmation dialog box, click Enable or Disable.
A message at the top of the page confirms that the module has been enabled or disabled, and the Status column updates to display Enabled or Disabled.
Note
If the module has an agent component, you must also enable that agent component in the agent policy before you can use the functionality.
Caution
If you are disabling a module that has an agent component and a server component, you must disable the agent component on every policy to which it is attached before you use the Endpoint Module Administration page to disable the server component of the module.
