Installing ePO - On-prem on an Azure server is similar to installing the software on a physical server.
The Azure server must be created.
You must know the SQL Server name.
Connect to Azure server using Remote Desktop Connection and the configured static IP address or DNS name.
Start the ePO - On-prem installation process.
In Database Information, enter the name of the Microsoft SQL Server configured.
By default, the ePO - On-prem SQL Server name is <AzureServerName>\EPOSERVER.
Complete the ePO - On-prem server installation.
(Optional) Create a backup image of your Azure server. See Azure documentation for instructions.
You have a ePO - On-prem server installed and configured that you can connect to from a remote browser using this format:
https://<EPO Server PUBLIC DNS Name>:<port>
