Set up a Trellix ESM in a Microsoft Hyper-V environment.
Download the Hyper-V image file from the Trellix download site. The file is in .zip format (for example, enmelm_8CPU_11.3.0_20200508005058.zip).
Copy the file to the Hyper-V repository and unzip it. The extracted file is in .vhd format (for example, enmelm_8CPU_10.3.0_20180508005058.vhd).
In the Hyper-V console, open the Edit Disk wizard.
Select the extracted .vhd image and select Convert.
From the left navigation menu, click Choose Disk Format and select VHDX.
Click Choose Disk Type and select Dynamically expanding.
Enter a name and location for the disk and click Finish.
The wizard creates the image and makes it available.
Start the New Virtual Machine wizard and give the new device a name.
Click Specify Generation and select Generation 1.
Connect the hard disk.
Click Connect Virtual Hard Disk.
Select Use an existing virtual hard disk.
Browse to select the .vhdx image and click Finish.
