Installing the Host Remediation Host Remediation server module

Select one of the following options to install the module:

To install the Host Remediation module using the Endpoint Security (HX) Server Web UI:
1. Log in to the Endpoint Security (HX) Server Web as an administrator.
2. From the Manage Software menu, select Endpoint Module Administration.
3. Click the Available Modules tab and locate Host Remediation in the module list.
4. In the Actions column, click the gear icon, and click Install.
5. Click Install on the dialog box.
To install the Host Remediation module using the Forensics UI:
1. Log in to the Forensics UI as an administrator.
2. From the Manage Software menu, select Endpoint Module Administration.
3. Click the Available Modules tab and locate Host Remediation in the module list.
4. In the Actions column, click the gear icon, and click Install.
5. Click Install on the dialog box.
To install the module using the installer CMS package, download the package from the FireEye Market, then upload the module CMS file to your Forensics UI Web UI. The module is disabled by default. When the module is installed successfully, it appears on the Modules menu tab.

The log file is created in the following location: /var/log/supervisor/host-remediation-server_<version_no>_<id>.log
