Use this command to specify the default gateway for ether2 (if cabled and configured).
By default, ether2 is not used. If you need to physically segregate MTP management traffic, you can use ether2.
In order to enable MTP management on the secondary interface, ether2 must be administratively enabled, and it must be configured with an IP address and default gateway on a reachable network.
To view the default gateway IP address for ether2, use the show interfaces ether2 command.
Syntax
msm mgmt-interface gw <ipAddress>
Parameters
<ipAddress>
The IP address of the default gateway for the ether2 management interface. Default value: 0.0.0.0
Examples
The following example specifies the host at 10.11.43.1 as the default gateway for ether2.
