Enables Trellix Mobile Threat Prevention (MTP) Cloud integration with the Network Security appliance. To use FireEye MTP Cloud integration, the Network Security appliance must be deployed in TAP mode or in inline mode.
When integration is enabled, the appliance looks up the MD5 checksum of each APK file through the AV-Suite analysis tool. The appliance submits the APK file for static analysis to the MTP Cloud. The MTP Cloud analyzes the APK file and returns its analysis to the appliance. When the appliance generates an alert, the alert is marked as a mobile alert. If the APK file is detected as malicious, the Network Security appliance generates a malicious mobile alert. The alert is displayed with a Mobile badge in the Alerts > Alerts page of an Network Security appliance.
MTP Cloud integration is enabled by default. For details about MTP Cloud integration, refer to the Network Security User Guide.
