Notifying end users about host containment using a Web page redirect

To notify users with a Web page redirect from the Web UI:

  1. Log in to the Endpoint Security (HX) Web UI.

  2. Select Containment Settings on the Configure menu. The Containment Settings page opens.

  3. In the End-User Notification section, slide the End-User Notification switch to On.

  4. Select From URL: and enter the notification Web page URL into the text box.

    Note

    Enter an IP address, not a hostname. During containment, DNS resolution is disabled on the host.

  5. Click Save.
