radius-server host ＜ip address＞ timeout

Specifies the number of seconds before retransmitting a request that previously timed out to this RADIUS server. The default is 3.

Note

This command overrides the global timeout value configured with the radius-server timeout command.

Syntax

radius-server host <ip address> timeout <seconds>

Parameters

ip address

Specify the IPv4 or IPv6 address of this RADIUS server.

seconds

Specify the number of seconds to wait before retransmitting a request that previously timed out. Valid values are 1–60. The default is 3.

Example

The following example configures a 10-second timeout for the specified RADIUS server.

hostname (config) # radius-server host 192.168.1.1 timeout 10
