Reset the global administrator password if you have forgotten your credentials, or are locked out and no other administrator accounts are available.
You must be able to log on to your server directly and access ePO - On-prem using the localhost address.
You must have the current database credentials for ePO - On-prem.
From your server, open a browser to
https://localhost:8443/core/restore-admin.Note
If you have customized the port of ePO console, you must update the same port number in the restore link.
The ePO - On-prem logon page opens.
Click Restore Administrator Access.
Under Database credentials, enter the current user name and password for the database.
Under Administrator credentials, enter the new password for the administrator account.
Click Submit to update the administrator account password.
After resetting the password, the global administrator user name is displayed in the confirmation message.
