Use the Dashboards server setting to specify the global default rate at which new widgets are refreshed.
Widgets are refreshed automatically. Each time a refresh occurs, the underlying query runs, and the results are displayed on the dashboard. Choose a default refresh interval for new widgets that is frequent enough to ensure accurate and timely information is displayed without consuming undue network resources. The default interval is five minutes.

Navigate to Menu → Configuration → Settings.
Select Dashboards, and in the bottom right-corner of the page click Edit.
Next to Default refresh interval for new monitors, enter a value between one minute and 60 hours.
Click Save.
New widgets are refreshed according to the interval you specified. Existing widgets retain their original refresh interval. To change the refresh interval of individual widgets, see Manage dashboard widgets.
