Set up user credentials to limit access to a Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator - On-premises device.

Verify that the Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator - On-premises device is set up and does not require global user authentication.

  1. On the Trellix ESM console, click the user name (top right).

  2. Click GUID-F191D568-8B93-4D2C-9BFC-F1342FC407BD-low.png Options to open the User Options page.

  3. Select ePO Credentials to view the Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator - On-premises devices on Trellix ESM.

    • If the Not Required status appears, the device is set up for global user authentication.

    • If the No Credentials status appears, the device is set up to require individual user authentication.

    • To change the user authentication setting, go to the Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator - On-premises device Properties, click Connect, and change the setting in the Require User Authentication field.

  4. To edit the Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator - On-premises credential:

    1. Select a Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator - On-premises and click GUID-A77C2CA2-8BC1-4B46-A362-BF8E4A8AFF3D-low.png Edit.

    2. Enter the user name and password and click Test Connection → Save.

  5. To delete a Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator - On-premises credential, select a Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator - On-premises with Credential Set status and click Delete.
