Specifies the timeout interval after which, if no data has been received from the client, the server will send client-alive messages through the encrypted channel to request a response from the client. By default, no messages will be sent to the client.

ssh server client-alive-interval <seconds>
no ssh server client-alive-interval

Use the no form of this command to reset the interval to the default setting (0).
seconds
The number of seconds in the timeout interval.

The following example specifies a 3-second interval.
