Things to know before installing TACC

Before installing TACC, review the following key considerations to ensure a smooth installation and minimize potential compatibility issues.

Third-party compatibility	Trellix Support maintains a list of known incompatibilities. For more information, see KB92191. Note A complete list of unsupported third-party products is not available.
Product compatibility	Verify the compatibility of TACC with other installed software. For details, see KB81465.
Antivirus exclusions for TACC	To avoid conflicts, configure antivirus exclusions for TACC as described in KB88915.
Supported upgrade paths	For information about supported upgrade paths, see 000013877.
Obtain the license key	Before you can activate the software, you need to obtain the license key file. Go to the Trellix Products Download site. Navigate to the Trellix Application Control or Trellix Change Control product section. Download the file titled License file for Trellix Application Control Version 8.4.x. Save this file to a location accessible during the installation or configuration process, where you are prompted to enter the license.
