New features and changes
Polling malicious verdicts from IVX server in TIE - TIE introduces a new feature that directly polls malicious verdicts from the IVX On-prem server. TIE will poll and store these malicious verdicts submitted via API, making them available for all TIE consumers. If TIE already contains the malicious data, Trellix Endpoint Security (ENS) can directly retrieve it, eliminating the need to send it to IVX for sandboxing. For details about polling malicious verdicts from IVX server, see the Trellix TIE Product Guide.
Support for Trellix GTI connectivity using IPv6 - TIE introduces a new policy option under the Trellix Global Threat Intelligence tab that enables users to connect to Trellix GTI using IPv6. This option allows users to switch to IPv6 if they prefer using it for connection to Trellix GTI. By default, this option is disabled.
Support for IVX Cloud connectivity using IPv6 - TIE introduces a new policy option under the Sandboxing tab that enables users to connect to IVX Cloud using IPv6. This option allows users to switch to IPv6 if they prefer using it for connection to IVX Cloud. By default, this option is disabled.
For details about TIE server policy connectivity using IPv6, see the Trellix TIE Installation Guide.
